I was just wondering if what was the best business opportunities would be, is it franchising or this new business opportunities in retail? Franchising is hassle free as I've got info to it while retail is just new. I don't have enough idea about this. Can you please elaborate further about this article? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your comment. It's not about which type of business (franchise vs. companay owned vs SME) but rather new opportunities for retailers. The traditional models of having a store and everything happens aroudn those stores is diminishing. Retailers are obliged to go where the crowd is, on the internet, mobile platforms etc. If not, they will do it for you (eg. group buying). So new opportunities are there, retailers have to embrace them.
